RC *  = Replacement cost is the cost to repair or replace covered property.  Replacement cost on contents may be purchased at additional cost for all forms except HO-8.  HO-2 and HO3 may be endorsed to provide actual cost value on the dwelling instead of replacement cost.

ACV * * = Actual cash value is calculated as the amount it would cost to repair or replace covered property, at the time of loss or damage, with material of like kind and quality, subject to a deduction for deterioration, depreciation and obsolescence.  Actual cash value applies to valuation of covered property regardless of whether that property has sustained partial or total loss or damage.

The actual cash value of the lost or damaged property may be significantly less than its replacement cost.

Maximum liability coverage is $100,000 for HO1 and HO8, $300,000 for HO2-ACV, $500,000 for other forms.

NOTE: This document presents a general description of coverages, consult the policy for exact terms and conditions.
